Frequently Asked Questions
Are pets allowed to visit the Corn Maze?
We are based on a working farm, and so for the safety of your pets and our livestock, we do not allow pets of any kind.
When is the Corn Maze open?
We are open seasonally, meaning our opening and closing weekends are based solely on the weather and growth patterns of the year. In general, we try to be open by mid-August, and close the first weekend in October. Follow our social media accounts for weekly updates during the summer and fall months.
Does the Corn Maze sell corn cobs for eating?
The corn we plant is a feed variety grown specifically for cattle. It doesn’t grow sweet corn cobs that you would buy in the store, so we do not sell cobs as food.
Are there washrooms at the Corn Maze?
We have two clean portable outhouses by the parking lot and store, as well as one rustic outhouse at the end of the Corn Maze, for your convenience. There are no indoor washrooms.
What happens to the Corn Maze when it closes?
We are happy to say that our corn provides more than just fun for the community - it's feed for our cattle as well! The Corn Maze was originally planted as an alternate feed source for our herd. After the Maze closes we fence the field into about five sections and strip graze it. It provides at least a months worth of feed for our cattle, and we are proud that our Corn Maze supports not only community and family enrichment, but also Agriculture and Alberta Beef.
